01Scope and Operator
This Privacy Policy explains how The Schulz Agency ("TSA," "we," "us," or "our"), an insurance-focused brand operated by The Peoples Trusts Consulting LLC, collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards information through tsa.thepeoplestrusts.com, the TSA Family Protection Navigator™, forms, consultations, quote requests, applications, email, SMS, telephone calls, scheduling tools, and policy-service communications.
This Policy applies only to TSA. It does not describe unrelated websites or services.
02Information We Collect
Depending on the service requested, we may collect:
- identifiers and contact details, including name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, date of birth, and communication preferences;
- household and family information, including marital status, dependents, beneficiaries, ownership preferences, and protection goals;
- current coverage information, desired coverage, premium budget, timing, carrier preferences, and policy-service history;
- financial and suitability information reasonably requested for life or indexed universal life insurance review, such as income ranges, obligations, assets, insurable interest, and funding objectives;
- health-related and underwriting information reasonably required for private health or life insurance screening, quoting, application support, or carrier review;
- tobacco or nicotine use, prescription-history or medical information when requested by a carrier or authorized platform;
- identity-verification, compliance, replacement, suitability, and application records;
- communications, meeting notes, call notes, form responses, supporting files, and policy-service records; and
- billing or transaction records. Complete card or bank credentials are generally processed by third-party providers rather than stored directly by TSA.
03Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you, from a person you authorize, through our website and forms, through the TSA Family Protection Navigator™, during consultations, and through carrier, quoting, enrollment, verification, and policy-service platforms used to fulfill your request. We may also receive information from appointed carriers, general agencies, administrative partners, or other licensed professionals involved in your application or service request.
04How We Use Information
- respond to inquiries and schedule insurance reviews;
- prepare readiness summaries, needs analyses, preliminary comparisons, quotes, and application support;
- evaluate potential fit for private health insurance, life insurance, or indexed universal life insurance;
- submit or support applications and communicate with carriers and authorized service partners;
- assist with policy delivery, required forms, beneficiary or ownership requests, and general servicing;
- maintain licensing, compliance, recordkeeping, quality-control, fraud-prevention, and business records;
- send transactional, scheduling, application, underwriting, renewal, and service communications; and
- protect legal rights, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable law or regulatory obligations.
05Health and Underwriting Information
Insurance workflows may require sensitive health, medical, prescription, financial, or identity information. Submit only information requested for a legitimate insurance purpose and use carrier-approved or otherwise authorized channels when directed. Ordinary email and SMS are not guaranteed to be secure for application-grade medical records, government identifiers, or complete financial credentials.
TSA uses such information for insurance-related purposes and handles it according to applicable insurance, privacy, carrier, and contractual requirements. Not every communication channel or service provider is a HIPAA-covered environment.
06AI-Assisted Processing
We may use AI-assisted tools for administrative drafting, summarization, workflow support, quality control, and preparation of educational or readiness materials. AI outputs are reviewed and are not used as a substitute for carrier underwriting, licensed insurance judgment, or final policy decisions.
We do not intend to place unredacted application-level medical records, government identifiers, or complete financial credentials into general-purpose AI tools unless an approved workflow and appropriate safeguards apply.
07Service Providers and Insurance Partners
We may disclose information to appointed insurance carriers, quoting or enrollment platforms, general agencies, field marketing organizations, licensed agents, policy-service vendors, payment processors, communications providers, scheduling systems, CRM providers, professional advisors, and contractors that support TSA operations. Each third party may process information under its own legal and privacy obligations.
08Legal and Protective Disclosures
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, licensing or regulatory requests, subpoenas, court orders, carrier requirements, fraud prevention, audits, legal claims, safety concerns, contract enforcement, or protection of TSA, consumers, carriers, or others.
We do not sell personal information as part of our ordinary business operations.
09Email, Telephone, and SMS Communications
By providing contact information, you authorize TSA to send service-related communications about appointments, requests, applications, underwriting, policy delivery, renewals, and servicing. Where marketing consent is requested, consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to an automated marketing text to opt out and HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transaction or policy-service communications.
10Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system, transmission method, or storage platform can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your devices, passwords, email account, and copies of insurance records.
11Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, support applications and policies, satisfy insurance licensing and carrier requirements, maintain errors-and-omissions and compliance records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or contractual obligations. Retention periods vary by record type, carrier relationship, and applicable law.
12Your Choices and Requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with you by emailing [email protected]. We may verify identity before acting and may retain records where required by law, carrier rules, licensing obligations, fraud-prevention needs, or legitimate business recordkeeping.
To update information in an active application or issued policy, contact TSA promptly; carrier-specific procedures may also apply.
13Dependents and Minors
TSA services are intended for adults who are legally able to request insurance guidance or act for a household or business. A parent, guardian, policy owner, or other authorized adult may provide information about a minor dependent when reasonably necessary for coverage. Minors should not submit forms or application information independently.
14Cookies and Technical Data
This Policy does not currently describe advertising pixels, retargeting, or behavioral advertising. Website hosting, security, forms, scheduling, and embedded service providers may use essential cookies, logs, or similar technical data required to operate their services. If TSA adds advertising or behavioral tracking, this Policy and any required consent controls should be updated before deployment.
15Third-Party Websites and Carrier Portals
Our website may link to carrier portals, quoting tools, scheduling tools, payment pages, or other third-party services. TSA does not control their privacy practices, security, accessibility, or availability. Review the applicable third-party policies before submitting information.
16Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy prospectively. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or other appropriate channels.
